All in a days work..The way you work...
I shouldn't call it work. Hair
styling has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. I started styling hair when I was about 12 years old. I would style my mother's hair and people would think that she went to the salon. I styled hair while in high school and in college. Those were some great years. They were also years where I had to learn much more than the basics that I already learned in beauty school. Its when I learned that I could only style hair my way and not the way other stylists did. I had to know that I did not have to be a carbon copy of someone else. Fast forward to now.. I still feel that way.. I would try to style like another stylist and I would always see my way in a style. Don't get me wrong, taking hair classes and seeing demonstrations at hair shows are a good thing, but know you have your own way of styling. There is nothing wrong with that. So with that being said, stick to being who you are and the way you style hair.. They may be able to do the same thing that you do well, but they aren't you!
